Maven Mama Who?

Okay so listen, I've been super busy...Like 3 years of busy! It's been so long since I wrote a blog post, shared my thoughts or even gave much attention to my site. The whole point of this site was/is to offer a place for women, especially mothers, to come and feel appreciated, loved and connected. I believe since the start of this site things have evolved. We started as "Mommy with Purpose." Now, we have become "Maven Mama Coaching." As a professional life coach this platform is extremely important to me. As a committed wife, mother and business woman, now more than ever, it is imperative that I remain open to the purpose of providing a safe space for us to connect.

The term "maven" has stuck with me ever since I attended a vision board party in Atlanta about 5 years ago. At the time I was involved in a wellness business. Our team, at that time, met up at Honey Bubble on Ponce De Leon and we started working on our boards. As I was cutting out pictures and phrases from various magazines that aligned with my vision, I came across an article entitled "From Bankruptcy to Maven..." Listen, at this point I can't even tell you what the article said. All I knew is that it sounded like ME! While making this vision board I was probably within my last few months of bankruptcy, I was fighting hard to reach my entrepreneurial goals within my wellness business at that time & my hubby and I were trying to simply keep our head above water. Honestly, it felt like it was meant for me to see that article to become inspired enough to fight harder.

Fast forward to now...I am running a successful online jewelry business that I can honestly say has earned us over 6 figures in sales thus far! I am able to continue to stay at home with our children without hesitation. Especially during this pandemic as they are learning virtually. My husband and I are able to make better decisions regarding our finances too. Heck. we are able to invest in stock now! That was so far from our minds just a short time ago! Life is better and we're still learning! We're not "all the way there" but we're definitely not where we were! Adopting a maven mindset required a shift in my spirit, confidence, friendships, finances and more! I can only pray that I continue to help others become their very best too! Becoming a Maven is all about embracing what you know and being open to learning what you don't know. Maven Mama Coaching is a place that you and I can safely do that, judgement free! You don't become an expert or trusted source of wisdom overnight. It takes time, experience and a whole lot of failing forward! I am here for it all!

Here's to a new beginning!

Love,

Ella
